FC4S Welcomes the Publication of 17 Jurisdictional Profiles and 16 Accompanying Snapshots by the IFRS Foundation

The Financial Centres for Sustainability (FC4S) warmly welcomes the publication of 17 jurisdictional profiles and 16 accompanying snapshots by the IFRS Foundation. This provides an unprecedented look into how countries around the world are progressing toward achieving a global baseline of sustainability disclosures.

This development comes at a pivotal moment. Through the Sustainability Disclosure and Management Hubs (SDMHs) Programme, led by UNDP as part of the EU-led Sustainable Finance Advisory Hub (SFAH), FC4S is supporting the advancement of national sustainability disclosure agendas across developing and emerging economies in Latin America, Africa, and Asia.

The newly released profiles are a crucial benchmark of transparency, as well as a practical tool that:

  • Map how jurisdictions are integrating ISSB Standards into regulatory and policy frameworks
  • Support informed decision-making by enabling jurisdictions and market participants to learn from other jurisdictions’ experiences
  • Act as a reference point for investors, preparers, regulators, and assurance providers navigating the evolving landscape of sustainability-related financial disclosures

As SDMHs continue to scale up in 2025 and beyond, these profiles will be used to support alignment with global best practices, enable informed public–private dialogue, and provide practical tools and insights for jurisdictions and market participants.

This milestone reinforces the collaborative spirit driving the SDMHs initiative, which is anchored by UNDP in collaboration with the IFRS Foundation, GRI, ISO, and GSG Impact. It also strengthens the global movement toward coherent, high-quality sustainability disclosures.
