The Seoul Metropolitan Government recognizes the importance of financing sustainable development. Seoul joined the FC4S Network in 2018, and is now in the early stages of developing a strategy to promote green and sustainable finance in Korea – with a focus on fintech.

The NICFA is developing a strategy on green and sustainable finance, building on local innovations in the space such as delivery of financial services through mobile technology.

Borsa Italiana, Forum per la Finanza sostenibile (FFS-ItaSIF) and Federazione Banche Assicurazioni e
Finanza (FeBAF) have set up ESGeneration Italy in 2021.
Madrid
FINRESP involves over 500 financial institutions as founding members.
London
The London City Corporation works to enhance London’s capacity to finance sustainable investment opportunities domestically and globally.
Lisbon
The GRFS think tank on sustainable finance is coordinated by the Ministry of Environment and Climate Action, in partnership with the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Economy and Digital Transformation. Members also include ten financial institutions, the three financial system supervisors, and four financial sector business associations.
Liechtenstein
The Liechtenstein Bankers Association received the prestigious 2019 award for Outstanding Contribution to Good Governance Liechtenstein from Capital Finance International (CFI.co).
